We aim to strengthen community safety and well-being by coordinating comprehensive reentry services, advocating for justice-involved individuals, and fostering collaboration among government, private, and community partners in Transylvania and Henderson Counties to make one cohesive service network.
We envision a community where every justice-involved individual has equitable access to resources, opportunity, and support leading to a successful reintegration. A connected network of Transylvania and Henderson County providers will minimize the barriers in accessing necessities and provide room for healthy identity formation, a safe place to learn and grow, safer communities, and improved well-being for all.
THReCon takes a holistic approach to community support. We believe that in order to truly support individuals with justice-involvement we must address all aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental health, social support, and other stabilization stressors. We listen, collaborate, and meet people where they're at with open arms. Most importantly, we lift up the voices of people with lived experience to ensure we are truly meeting the need.
